That’s Not My Neighbor

That’s Not My Neighbor is a tense, retro-styled horror puzzle game where your job is simple—but terrifying to get wrong. You work as a doorman in an apartment building during a strange crisis: mysterious creatures called doppelgängers are disguising themselves as residents to infiltrate buildings. Your task is to carefully check every visitor who claims to live there and decide whether to let them in… or report them.

Using documents, ID cards, entry requests, and resident lists, you must examine each person standing at your door. At first everything seems normal, but soon small details start to feel wrong—an unusual smile, mismatched information, strange behavior, or a face that just isn’t quite human. One mistake could allow a doppelgänger into the building, putting everyone inside in danger.

The game combines document-inspection mechanics with psychological horror. Inspired by classic surveillance and verification games, it challenges players to pay attention to tiny clues while dealing with growing pressure and unsettling encounters.

With its vintage pixel-art style, eerie atmosphere, and suspenseful decision-making, That’s Not My Neighbor turns a seemingly ordinary job into a nerve-racking fight against deception. Every knock on the door could be a neighbor… or something pretending to be one.
